Volunteers are lifesavers. They donate their own time to help assist others. Being one is a very rewarding experience where you will receive lots of love in return.

PAWS of Hertford County relies solely on volunteers. We are a 501(c)(3), meaning that we receive no federal, state, or county funding. All of our roles, including Director and Board positions, are all volunteer. We offer many various roles - something for everyone. Please see our roles below. 

 

All volunteers that are able to work with animals must be at least 18 years old or 16 years old with parental consent.
